It is not possible to publish research data before submission of patent application. The reason for non-disclosure in this case should be explained in the data management plan, the metadata file (which should also be made available in this case) and, if requested by the grant provider, in other documents as appropriate. Any disclosure of research data will be in accordance with patent protection. It is also recommended to consult the patent centre on the matter.
